VOLUNTEER AT ABLE

ABLE is grateful to work with law students, paralegals, college students, and other members of our communities each year.

Non-lawyers can help in a variety of different ways, including committing to a weekly schedule at ABLE’s office, reviewing and compiling data, helping with driver's license reinstatement or other clinics, and watching and reporting on court proceedings.

PRO BONO ATTORNEYS

ABLE partners with Legal Aid of Western Ohio (LAWO), Toledo Bar Association’s Pro Bono Program, and the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyer’s Project to support volunteer attorneys.

There are cases and projects that our pro bono partner programs do not place or cannot staff due to funding constraints. ABLE is pleased to work directly with pro bono attorneys and law students to represent and give legal education to: Immigrants in several types of cases, people and groups with low incomes forming small businesses, co-ops, and nonprofits or learning entrepreneurial skills.
